Abstract

The study of Λ-⁴He low energy scattering is suggested as a means of obtaining information on the Λ-N spin-orbit force. The Λ-⁴He elastic scattering and polarization behaviour as function of energy is calculated using the _Λ^staggered5He binding energy and the properties of the p-shell hypernuclei.
