Abstract
בחודש פברואר 2000 נערכה חפירת הצלה מדרום לאזור התעשייה בר-לב שבעמק עכו. על מדרון גבעה סמוך לערוץ נחל חילזון נחשפו שרידי מבנה גדול, אולי בית חווה מהתקופה ההלניסטית. הממצא הקרמי שנתגלה מתארך את המבנה לשתי תקופות עיקריות: התקופה ההלניסטית (מאות ג'-ב' לפסה"נ), והתקופה הממלוכית (המאות הי"ד-הט"ו לסה"נ) נתגלו קערות בעלות זיגוג וכן נרות.
