Abstract
במאמר זה אנו מבקשים להתמקד בהיבט המגדרי של תודעת האיום האשכנזית, ובפרט גילומו של האיום במיניותו של הגבר הזר. נבקש לברר כיצד נתפס האיום הזה וכיצד הוא מעצב את יחסי הכוח בין יהודים לנוצרים ואת מרקם היחסים הפנים-יהודי בין נשים לגברים. אנו מציעים כי התבוננות קרובה בהיבט ממוגדר זה של האיום מזמנת חשיפה של מבני עומק תרבותיים ומאפשרת מיפוי מדויק של יחסי הכוח, המניעים לפסיקה ולפעולה והאתגרים ההיסטוריים הייחודיים שעימם התמודדו יהודי אשכנז.
