Abstract
The current research focuses on managing the paradoxical tension between upholding freedom of expression values and maintaining a diverse academic community in times of war. The research is based on a case study of Tel Aviv University over a three - month period: from October 7th until the end of 2023. The findings contribute to understanding the practices that can be used to manage tensions arising in diverse organizations during times of war, especially when conflicts involve both social media and face to face interactions.
