Unit 10 (pp. 183-298) describes forced conversions of Jews in Spain and Portugal from the late 14th century, the Inquisition, and the suffering of the Conversos until their expulsion from Spain in 1492 and from Portugal in 1497. Describes the disappointment of the Jews, who had hoped that this theology would be more accepting of them.
