Abstract
המאמר מבוסס במיוחד על הארכיון הפרטי של רג'ואן, ומטרתו לזרות אור על דמותו של איש רוח מודליסט, הומניסט, שתפקד כסיימוגרף של החברה הישראלית הצעירה, איתר את שסעיה החברתיים והפוליטיים, ושרטט לפניה דרך מוצא ועלייה על דרך המלך, גם בציר היחסים עם הערבים הפלסטינים בישראל ועם המרחב הערבי. בחילוצו של רג'ואן מתחום הנשייה של הזיכרון הישראלי ומיקומו בהקשר רחב, תרבותי והשוואתי, יש כדי להעשיר את גוף הידע על השיח העדתי ולהוסיף זווית דיון חסרה על התפתחותה ומאפייניה של המחאה המזרחית לאחר קום המדינה.
