מאמר זה בוחן את הצידוקים לפרקטיקת ההפרדה בתחבורה הציבורית, תוך בחינה מדוקדקת של מערכות השיקולים ההלכתיות כמו גם בחינת התפיסות החברתיות העומדות בבסיס פרקטיקת ההפרדה המגדרית בתחבורה הצבורית, וכן של התפקיד היחסי של הרציונלים הלגיטימיים של ההפרדה וחשיבותם בחברה החרדית
