Abstract
דומה שאין חולק על כך כי אם הכנסת רוצה בכך היא יכולה מבחינה הלכתית לחוקק חוק המונע מנאשם בפלילים להתמודד על תפקיד ראש הממשלה. השאלה שבה ידון המאמר היא אם מבחינה הלכתית ראוי שהכנסת תחוקק חוק שכזה - כלומר, האם ההלכה רואנ בעין יפה את המצב המשפטי הקיים המאפשר לנאשם בפלילים להתמודד על תפקיד ראש הממשלה.
