Abstract
המאמר מציג קטעי מקרא שמזדמנות בהם - בפסוק אחד או ברצף של שני פסוקים, ולעיתים ביחידות גדולות יותר כגון פרשה בתורה או מזמור בתהילים שתי חלופות הנבדלות זו מזו בהגייתן (כגון בְּעָזְּךָ - בְּעֻזְּךָ) או בתצורתן (כגון בָּזַזְנוּ - בַּזּוֹנוּ). המחבר מציע שישה זוגות חלופות הן מן המקרא ככתיבתו הן מן המקרא כקריאתו ומעמיד על המניע להופעתם, ובלשונו: "מה ביקשו כותביהן של החלופות בכתיבתן".
