Abstract
The slogan "Together we will win" has been in conspicuous and widespread use in public discourse since October 7. This article examines the slogan and its prominence along two dimensions. First, I delve into its historical-political contexts ,tracing its evolution and dissemination across various spaces and political contexts. I explore its appropriation by opposing political camps and the moment in which it is transformed from a genuine call to a crutch for humor, irony and even anger. Second, I argue that while it is ostensibly intended to uplift and inspire, the slogan does not symbolize a reality, but rather exposes a societal void
