Abstract
מטרת המאמר היא לפענח את נופה של ירושלים כפי שהתגבש בתקופות תרבותיות שונות: קדם מודרנית, מודרנית ומודרנית מאוחרת. נבדקות שלוש שאלות: א. מהן התרבויות שנחרטו בנוף העיר ירושלים במהלך היווצרותה, וכיצד הן באות לכלל ביטוי בנוף העירוני? ב. מהן מערכות היחסים בין נופים שנוצרו בתרבויות שונות? ג. מהם הגורמים המסבירים את אופי היחסים בין הנופים השונים?
