Abstract
עקרון השמירה על כבודו של האדם ועל פרטיותו בטיפול הרפואי מעוגן בסעיף המטרה של חוק זכויות החולה, התשנ"ו-1996. בשילוב עם חוק יסוד: כבוד האדם וחירותו (1992) מעגנים חוקים אלה את כבוד האדם כזכות חוקתית עליונה, בפרט בהקשר הרפואי.
