חנוך יעיל לשלום צריך להבחין בין מינים של רגשות שליליים ולהתמקד ברגש ההרסני ביותר: שנאה. חינוך לשלום לא צריך לטפל בעצם הסכסוך אלא באמונות הכלליות שמזינות אותו.
