Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to investigate the significance of Gödel's Second Theorem. It is claimed that the theorem contradicts a basic constraint on our intuitive notion of 'implication'. The logic suggested as a solution to this problem contributes to a clear evaluation of the theorem. Indeed, Gödel's Second Theorem reveals from other points of view the limits of First Order Logic.
