Abstract
באוגוסט 1999 נערכה חפירת בדיקה במערת האלה, במדרון הצפוני של נחל בצת. נערכו שישה קידוחים ידניים. המערה מלאה בזבל עזים המגיע לעומק של 3 מ'. החפירה בעונה זו נערכה בתוך המערה ובמדרגה שלפניה
