Abstract
ח'אן אל זית, באב ח'אן אל זית, וסוק באב ח'אן אל זית הם שמות שונים לאחד השווקים החשובים בעיר העתיקה בירושלים. בחורף 2003 נערכה חפירת הצלה באחת החנויות של השוק שבבעלותה של משפחת קלוטי, סמוך לתחנה השביעית של דרך הייסורים. מן החפירה אפשר להסיק שבמקום התקיימה תעשיית סבון בתקופה העות'מאנית.
