Abstract
העיר לכיש של תקופת הברזל היא השנייה בחשיבותה ביהודה אחרי ירושלים. התל שוכן על גדת נחל לכיש בשפלת יהודה ושולט על הדרך הראשית שעברה ממישור החוף להרי חברון וירושלים.
