Abstract
התהפוכות שפקדו את המערב בין המאה הרביעית למאה השמינית הטביעו את חותמן גם על מבנה המשפחה ואופייה. המאמר עוסק במאפייני מבנה המשפחה ואופייה באימפריה הרומית, ובהשפעות התיאולוגיה הנוצרית והברברים על מאפייני המשפחה.
