הצלחתה של המהפכה המשפטית ההומוסקסואלית בישראל לא באה בשל תהליך הליברליזציה שפשט בחברה הישראלית; אופיה השמרני של החברה הישראלית הוא זה שבו נעשה שימוש כדי לשנות את מערכת המשפט הישראלית ברוח ליברלית.
