Abstract
בחינת פירושו הקבלי של ר' בחיי בן אשר לי"ב אבני החושן על רקע הספרות הלאפידרית בת הזמן, מראה כי שימשו אותו מספר ספרי אבנים שונים. אותם חומרים שהגיעו לידיו עובדו ושובצו לפי הבנתו ומגמותיו הפרשניות, ואפשר שאת מה שמצא בהם עיבד תוך שימוש בחומר נוסף שלמד מעיון בספרות הרמטית. המאמר דן גם בסוגית טהרה באבנים ובשם האל בן ע"ב תיבות בהקשר לאבני החושן.
