Abstract
The article discusses the place of lex fori in a system of choice of law. Through critical analysis of some recent Israeli decisions, it suggests circumstances in which it is appropriate to focus on the scope of application of a specific rule or statute of the forum,it lays out the tools that are available for doing so, and it suggests how such tools should be implemented.
