Abstract
חקלאות נשענת על משאבי טבע אך גם מזיקה להם. כדי להגן על משאבי הטבע יש צורך בהתערבות ממשלתית. כמו למשל הדגש שניתן לשמירה על שטחים חקלאיים כמו על שטחים פתוחים. דרושה מדיניות לשימוש בקרקע חקלאית כדי לקדם ממשק בר קיימא לשטחים חקלאיים. ממשק כזה נותן מענה אקולוגי אך תוך הבחנה בין חקלאות לייצור מזון לבין חקלאות נופית סביבתית. יש להציע מדיניות חקלאית שתשמור על חקלאות ועל הסביבה בתוכנית אב ארוכת טווח.
