Abstract
פיתוח החקלאות בישראל היה ועודנו מופת ומודל לחיקוי לעמי העולם. עם זאת, פוחת והולך מספר המשפחות המצליחות להתקיים בכבוד מעיסוק בחקלאות. מטרת המאמר לתאר ולהסביר שתי תופעות מנוגדות (לכאורה) אלה, ולנסות להתוות כיווני התפתחות עתידיים של המגזר החקלאי בישראל.
