Abstract

The structure - properties relationship of large-grain polycrystalline and single crystalline optical germanium, was compared in terms of electrical and optical properties. The dopant distribution and the optical properties relevant to thermal imaging showed better homogeneity of the single crystalline than the polycrystalline material.
