Abstract

A method was developed to suspend fungal mycelium in the culture vessel of growing cultures using an Ultra-Turrax homogenizer. Inoculations made with such hyphal suspensions yielded uniform and fast growth. Suspensions were also distributed on agar plates with a glass spreader for testing antibiotics and fungicides.
