Abstract

This paper describes an efficient adaptation of the vortex method to compute solutions of the Euler system of equations for incompressible inviscid fluids. The method is applied to a problem of aeronautical engineering: the vortex alleviation problem. The method is also generalized to 3-D problems. (A)
