Abstract

The issue of dynamical linear realizations of non-compact symmetries is discussed. The two-dimensional non-compact O(N, 1) O(N) is studied using various approximations. Monte Carlo simulations of the O(2, 1) O(2) non-linear σ model are performed. No significant deviations from the perturbative region are detected.
