Abstract

We demonstrate Soliton interaction with a dispersive truncated Airy pulse at the same wavelength (or frequency) via split-step Fourier technique simulations. As a result of the interaction, the fundamental parameters of the emergent Soliton exhibit a change. These changes are influenced by various parameters such as the relative intensities, phases, and group velocity differences, the latter being responsible for the duration of the interaction.
