Algebraic model of baryon resonances

Abstract

We discuss recent calculations of electromagnetic form factors and
strong decay widths of nucleon and delta resonances. The calculations are done in
a collective constituent model of the nucleon, in which the baryons are interpreted
as rotations and vibrations of an oblate top.
