Abstract
An alternative way to the classical method is presented for calculating the relevant pharmacokinetic parameters for zero‐order absorption and first‐order elimination processes. Although the equations were derived using the one compartment body model, some of them are applicable to the multicomponent body model as well. The method presented is useful whether or not a steady state is reached.
