Abstract

A “simple” fourfold bridged MoMo triple bond is present in the purple‐red complex 1 which is formed by slow mixing of the reactants listed below. “Simple” MM bonds do not contain δ bonding (σ4 π4). (Figure Presented.) (Formula Presented.)
