An iterative procedure for multichain closed networks of queues

Abstract

We suggest a new iterative procedure for evaluating the performance of a closed multichain network of load independent queues. The procedure is based on iteratively generating approximations to the performance of each chain. Some extensions are discussed and promising numerical results are reported.
