Abstract

The distribution of tracer metal ions between methanolic or ethanolic hydrogen chloride and Dowex-1 anion exchanger has been further studied with silver, and new data for perrhenate have been obtained. The data can be interpreted in terms of the ion-paired H+ReO4-, H+AgCl2- and neutral AgCl species in solution in both solvents.
