Abstract
New features of the resistivity dependence on the melt-flow-distance of carbon black-polyvinylchloride are presented. These features are compared with features obtained from the first computer study on the resistance of a two-dimensional system of conducting sticks and its dependence on the system's anisotropy. The qualitative resemblance between the two dependences and the effect of the conducting material content on these dependences, indicate clearly that the conduction in the composites is well described by an anisotropic percolation process.
