Abstract

Consideration is given to questions of the use in equations of hydrothermodynamics of expressions obtained by parameterization of atmospheric convection based on the hypothesis of conditional instability of the second kind. Attention is given to typical errors tolerated during the use of this parameterization in writing equations of specific humidity. A number of considerations are mentioned regarding improvement of parameterization of a number of terms in the equations for temperature and specific humidity as such phenomena apply to the tropical cyclone.
