Atomic cladded waveguide for chip scale stabilization and modulation of telecom wavelengths

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a chip-scale integration of photonic waveguides and alkali vapor for frequency reference and modulation. A telecom signal was stabilized to rubidium ladder transition and was modulated by a 780nm pump laser.
