Abstract

Correction to: Nature Communicationshttps://doi.org/10.1038/s41467-025-57982-5, published online 7 April 2025 In the version of the article initially published, a correction factor of 1.88 was applied to the measured sinking speeds, to account for the flow profile within the experimental tube. However, this same factor was not applied to the calculated depth values. The depth values in Fig. 1, Supplementary Figs. 2 and 12, Supplementary Movie 1 and Source Data 1 have now been corrected to amend this error.
