Author Correction: Local auxin biosynthesis is required for root regeneration after wounding (Nature Plants, (2020), 6, 8, (1020-1030), 10.1038/s41477-020-0737-9)

In the version of this article initially published, four panels showing replicate control experiments (Fig. 2f, Fig. 5b,c and Extended Data Fig. 6g) were accidentally duplicated from our previous 2016 publication1. We have traced this to an error made during figure preparation as experiments for both papers were conducted in parallel. The panels have now been replaced by the correct control images in the HTML and PDF versions of the article. We note that the panels represent experimental replicates of the previous publication, and the correction does not affect any of the results or conclusions expressed in the paper. We sincerely apologize for this oversight.
