Abstract

We introduce a next-gen OFDM/WDM spectral architecture symmetrically serving 40G/40G to 4 ODNs (4x64 users) per 4x12.5 GHz dense λ-s, with low-cost energy-efficient self-coherent photonic-integrated ONUs with down/up 16-QAM OFDM polarization diversity.
