Abstract

The present study addresses the text BM 29638 - a small tablet (4.3 × 8.9 cm), single-column, 28 lines long, written in an OB script. The tablet is complete, but contrary to its well-preserved obverse, some lines on the reverse are partially worn and effaced. In the British Museum records it is filed as a literary text, but as its content clearly proves, it belongs to the rare group of short OB rituals.
