Abstract
The lowest order retardation corrections to the high energy limit of the two electron photoionization cross section of a number of two-electron objects was computed. The calculations were performed for helium atom and the helium like ions at high but nonrelativistic photon energies using high precision wave functions. The dependence of the correction on nuclear charge was calculated.
