Calculations of K-nuclear quasi-bound states using chiral KN amplitudes

We review our recent calculations of K^- quasi-bound states in nuclear systems using subthreshold energy dependent chiral KN amplitudes. Strong energy dependence of the scattering amplitudes requires self-consistent evaluation of the involved KN interactions. In view of sizable widths predicted by our calculations, an unambiguous identification of K^--nuclear quasi-bound states in ongoing experimental searches would be difficult.
