Abstract

This article uses the Monty Hall Paradox to explain the behavioural pattern of vaccine refusal. Israel was the world leader in terms of vaccination campaign during the COVID19 pandemic. This permits an accumulated gain of new information, which, in turn, supports the effectiveness of the vaccine without side effects. This is done in the same manner that the host in the MontyHall game opens the empty cells and thus exposes additional information. Yet regardless of this information, ideological vaccine resisters prefer to ignore this data and choose the wrong strategy to preserve their original choice.
