Abstract

A method is proposed which overcomes the difficulties due to the (nearly) hyperbolic nature of some fluid flow problems. Its main advantages are: artificial viscosity due to time discretization and not to spatial model as in upwinding; Navier Stokes problems are reduced to a set of Stokes problems at each step.
