Abstract
CuI like satellites of the NiI like 3p-4s and 3p-4d resonance transitions are observed in the X-ray spectra emitted from laser-produced plasma of tungsten and neighbouring atoms (Tm, Yb, Ta, Re). The classification is based on both isoelectronic sequence analysis and comparison with ab initio relativistic calculations.
