Abstract

We propose and demonstrate a spectral phase and amplitude modulator with a 100-GHz free-spectral range capable of mitigating signal impairments. The processor achieves 1.8-GHz optical resolution over 80-GHz usable bandwidth, with 557-MHz addressable granularity.
