Abstract

An investigation of a hexane soluble fraction from the leaves and small stems of Cannabis sativa L. obtained from an Indian variant grown in Mississippi resulted in the isolation and characterization of cannabiglendol (8-hydroxy-isohexahydrocannabivarin). The structure of this compound was determined by spectral means and by examination of the ev-mf graphs of both the natural and the synthetic Cshomolog.
