Abstract

Wavelength, intensity and chirp are used to control impulsive generation and detection of I₃* ground state vibrational coherences. Intensity harmonic switching, sub- 1/v² dependence of second harmonic T*₂(vib), and phase space mapping of vibrational coherences by chirped probing are demonstrated.
