The original version of this article unfortunately contained a mistake. In the section ‘’Predicting sepsis’’, last sentence of the first paragraph which previously read: Additional variables that were significantly associated with sepsis were bladder outlet obstruction and a history of recent fank pain (Table 3 in supplements). and should have read: Additional variables that were significantly associated with sepsis were bladder outlet obstruction and a history of recent flank pain (Table 3).
