Abstract
In this chapter, we discuss the rare condition of rigid sacroiliac pathologies, which are usually of post-traumatic nature. We discuss the clinical presentation and radiographic evaluation of these complex disorders. Afterwards, we discuss the management of these pathologies, including nonsurgical treatment, but mainly the surgical reconstruction of the pelvic girdle and other salvage procedures to address specific, usually neurological, pathologies caused by the disfigured pelvic ring. Lastly, we describe use of a modern approach using computer-assisted surgery in order to plan and execute it to the fullest.
